OUTREACH MINISTRY

One of our Pastor's outreach programs is a weekly Bible study he has held for over 16 years at Quarrytown (a senior living complex in Berea, Ohio).  It is held at 2:00 every Tuesday.

Kidz Korner

This ministry meets in the fellowship hall during Church service.  It is for children ages 4 thru 10.  After praise and worship, we leave the upstairs service and have our own service for the children.

Christian Education

Wednesday is our Bible Study Day at the Mount!  We have one at Noon and at 7:00 p.m.

The Noon Bible Study is hosted by Sister Lillian Anderson. This Bible Study is for everyone who desires to learn the Word of God for themselves.  We study the books of the Bible, Precept upon Precept - getting to know the Living Word through the Written Word.  We learn through observation (who, what, where, why and how), interpretation and application of the Word to our lives. We also do topical studies.  We are currently studying from a workbook titled "Behold Your God: Rethinking God Biblically".  All are WELCOME!

Sister Norma Roberts hosts the 7:00 p.m. Bible Study.  This is an intense study of the Bible from Genesis thru Revelations with an in depth study of each book including handouts and a PowerPoint  presentation.

Sunday School

Sunday mornings join us for our Sunday School adult class.  We start at 9:30 a.m. It is hosted by Bro. Wade Hampton Sr.  We are currently working thru a LifeWay Christian Resource book series called "YOU". Coffee and pastry is served.

MUSIC MINISTRY

Our Music Ministry is led by Min. J.T. Hairston Sr. He brings to the table his amazing expertise on the organ and his years of experience singing and conducting choirs worldwide.  Along with the Mounts Nu Vision choir, they raise our Praise and Worship to the highest level possible.

First Impressions ministry
The Gift of Welcome

The purpose of the members of the First Impression Ministry is to stand at the entrance and be an example of Christ's Love.  We welcome our visitors and members and let them know they are family.  The role is not to be taken lightly, because we are the first person seen when entering the church.  This is considered a sign of faithfulness to God.  The Greek interpretation of "hospitality" is "the love of strangers."
